The attached photos should help to illustrate a simple solution I came up with for cutting near net-shaped stock with the common dual-use bandsaw. The rip fence was a quick and easy modification put together with some basic items I had on hand. The guide is quickly removed or adjusted for size.
This guide made cutting the narrow brass strips a breeze and I hope this tip can help someone out there with a similar need.
